PC Based Interlocking - PCIXL
An interlocking engine running from a normal desktop computer. It performs all functional requirements of electronic interlocking. PCIXL along with its interface modules can work as a standby when the main interlocking fails or during the commissioning of phase works.
It is designed for quick failure recovery time of a station interlocking failure and to make the station operational as early as possible.
PCIXL availability in particular station enables the signals controller to do the train movements in short recovery time when the main interlocking fails.
